Synstar
Synstar is a single application stabilizer designed to extend the colloidal stability of beer by the adsorption of both proteins and polyphenolic tannoid compounds found in beer. Synstar is a blend of highly specific silica xerogel and PVP bound to silica xerogel. Synstar comes in two types, one designed for high tannoid and the other for lower tannoid content beers. Laboratory analysis is provided to determine which product is best suited to a given beer.
